Ministering to the children of the incarcerated...
G.R.A.C.E. CAMp
God's Really awesome camping experience
REV. KAY HEBERT
PRESIDENT
Greetings In Jesus'Name!
As the President of GRACE CAMP, INC., I would like to thank you for not only your interest, but for your generous support in prayer, time spent volunteering and financial giftings throughout the year. Many of our sponsors have been with us since the establishment of this ministry.
What was once the vision of Methodist Pastors, John Johns and Lorris Wimberly, has now expanded to incorporate diverse cultures and interdenominational access to Grace Camp. This work continues to grow; the mission has never wavered from the desire of the founders to continue to provide ministry to these children of God.
We welcome you to contact us if you would like more information than what is provided on the following pages.
We are always looking for ways to bring our campers into a deeper relationship with the Lord. Grace is truly a place for campers to learn of God's amazing love for them, mercy for forgiveness and grace for putting their young lives together in a Godly way! They truly become revived in His presence! The tallest anyone on this earth can stand is when he stoops to minister to a child.
It is a privilege to be a small part of this great vision. May it continue until Jesus comes!
Blessings to you and your families,
Rev. Kay Hebert

invest in the future of a child
A unique camping experience for children of the incarcerated.
The camp's purpose.
...to provide, free of charge, a week of Christian camping for children of prisoners. The aim is to expand their world in a special fulfilling week.
The camp's philosophy
...to demonstrate unconditional love to campers who may never before have been offered or accepted that gift from their family or friends. For many of them, there has never been a gift given without something expected in return.
The camp's work week is...
...like most camps having group activities, music, arts and crafts, sports, nature, candlelight share time and worship. There's always fun with focus on teamwork, group support and cooperation.
The camp's result is...
...to make a difference in the lives of these children by showing them love and planting seeds of hope. Since beginning in 1999 there are many success stories of children who returned every year, then became support staff at GRACE Camp and excelled in school and community.
invisible victims of crime
Children with parents in prison are the forgotten victims of crime. The chances are high that they too, will go to prison.
"Children of incarcerated parents are not documented; they are invisible, and no government entity is responsible for them." according to the Children's Justice Alliance.
A week of camp in an environment of love, learning and fun broadens their horizons and helps break the cycle of destroying families. In a loving, grace- filled setting, they experience and learn the benefits of group support, cooperation and self- discovery. They learn that God loves them unconditionally.
